Other Works of Agatha's

Agatha Christie has contributed more than just Hercule Poirot and Jane Marple to literature. She has allowed us to enjoy the exploits of brave and adventurous women, a stolid Scotland Yard man, a mystery writer in the image of Christie herself, and other colorful and memorable characters. She has also given us some terrific plays, most notably The Mousetrap, Ten Little Indians, and Witness for the Prosecution. She has fascinated us with her bestselling novel not starring Poirot nor Marple: And Then There Were None, the world's best-selling mystery ever. We get to see Agatha the person through such works as her poetry, her romance novels, and her autobiographies. So, as you can see, you're missing much if you read solely a Poirot or Marple story.

In the largest section on Hercule Poirot Central, you'll find all that was mentioned above and more right here under "Other Works".

Discover more about the strong and brave women found in Agatha's novels in the new article Agatha's Brave Heroines. In this newest addition to our site, you can discover how memorable and significant these characters are.

Read up about the characters she used as narrators in her works here. From characters like Captain Hastings to Mark Easterbrook, you can read a mini-bio on each of the narrators Christie employed in order to tell her stories.

We have a unique article here, one that lists all the medical personnel found in Agatha's detective novels. In every mini-bio, an attempt is made to either give a physical description of the character and/or a quote from them. Don't worry, there are no spoilers given! Read up on the famous doctors, the kind ones, and the wicked ones right here or click on the "Harley Street" link.

To learn more about the other great heroes created by Agatha Christie, simply go to the "Other Sleuths" section. The other writings of Christie's including her autobiographies and plays are found under the section titled "Other Genres". There are plenty of other stories of mystery and detection penned by the Queen of Crime--those are found under the "Great Mysteries section".

What are you waiting for? You can read more on other recurring characters who inhabit her novels, learn more of the plays she's written, and find out what other great mystery novels you've missed. Enjoy.
