Herculego Poirot--Book 2

Book 2

X 4

In Herculego's Book 2, there are a total of 8 crime scenes from 8 different cases (varying in difficulty and method of murder). Also note: one of these scenes is not the location where the victim died. The scenes in LEGO are primarily taken from the novels and short stories themselves. (Only occasionally they might resemble the crime as seen from the television series Agatha Christie's Poirot.)

Click on a case and study the photograph. When you have a shrewd idea of the story the photo is from, leave behind a comment (using your Facebook login) stating the story's title. Good luck!

Don't forget to participate in the "Herculego Challenges" below, as well. Clues to these challenge questions are identified by little icons of the characters with a yellow border. These would be allies of Poirot's, such as Ariadne Oliver or his valet George.

Herculego Challenges -- Book 2

What other case of mine featured a strangled woman lying on the beach? : comments have been made

Chief Inspector Japp: "Moosior Poirot's question might be challenging, but I have a clue for you: I was the investigating officer in that other story with Poirot."

Speaking of that, what story dealt with a "cold case" of a woman's strangulation, in which the murderer used gloves? : comments have been made

Japp: "Poirot was not involved in this case in Dilmouth--I wasn't either. I learned about this in my old age from a colleague in Scotland Yard."

George: "There is a debate when this case occurred. It supposedly took place decades ago, but its facts were made known during Monsieur Poirot's final years."

What was the weapon used to kill the victim in case 6? : comments have been made

There was also an attempted murder, whilst victim was in bed, with a fatal needle. I didn't investigate this one. The papers reported . . . : comments have been made

Mrs. Oliver: "I wasn't involved with this either, my friend. It took place in Danemouth, I believe. I don't know why, but this reminds me of the young Girl Guide in the Nasse House case."

Amongst these scenes, which TWO stories involve more than one of the same weapon? : comments have been made

A famous British spy seemed to be involved in one of the crimes here (although I did not spot him). However, "James Bond" appears in which Agatha Christie story . . . : comments have been made

Captain Hastings: "Neither story in which James Bond appears is one that I chronicled. I wasn't present when he journeyed with my friend Poirot. Also, don't forget: there are TWO answers to this one challenge question."
