• The TV series with David Suchet originally started with an animated sequence representing Art Deco and the 1930s. This sequence animated by Pat Gavin along with music by Christopher Gunning (both won BAFTA Awards) depicts major transportation of the era, industrialism of the time, and introduces us to Hercule Poirot. The series continued having the full title sequence until 1997.
